Summary: The work schedule for this position is: Full Time (40 hours per week)

Duties: This position conducts the inventory of residences upon arrival and departure of occupants, agencies, and offices comprising 167 different locations. Provides critical
support in conducting the Annual inventory of Office and Warehouse spaces. Conducts and reports results for all property inventories as required by 14 FAM and other
guidance from the State Department. acks up Receiving Clerk.

Inventory of Residences:
Conduct Inventories 40+ leased and owned residences upon departure and arrival of occupants, or any major property movement. Conducts annual inventory for Chief of
Mission Residence and Deputy Chief of Mission Residence.

Office Inventories:
Conduct annual inventory of all offices and periodically as requested by agencies. Account for all items tracked in ILMS for all ICASS paying agencies on post. Prepare
inventory documents for agencies upon request.
Annual Inventory:

Lead annual inventory effort for warehouse, offices and other applicable spaces. Lead all coordination with Washington, DC for all annual inventory related matters.
Coordinate with Expendables Supply Clerk, Motor pool supervisor, and Information Management Office to ensure that all required inventories are completed on time.

Warehouse Inventories and Sale preparation:
Conduct regular warehouse inventories to ensure no property goes missing. Track all items ready for sale and sort into appropriate lots. Manage all DS-582s for all Non-
Expendable items leaving the warehouse.
Backup Receiving Clerk:
Assist receiving clerk during heavy volume periods and backup the position during the absence of the primary job holder.

Qualifications and Evaluations

Requirements: Experience: Administrative/Government services/Para-professional 1 to 2 years. Two years of clerical experience is required. At least one years of stock management and record keeping, or related job experience is required.

Job Knowledge: Internal – Must be familiar with Embassy furniture policy and plan, the distribution of property throughout Embassy residences and offices, and which agencies occupy
which spaces.
External – Must be familiar with the local market conditions to properly advertise and manage Embassy sales.
Specialized –

Education Requirements:

Secondary schooling (Completion of secondary schooling is required).

Evaluations:

Language: ARABIC (WESTERN) 3 General Professional Proficiency. Must be able to interact in Hassaniya with local staff in the warehouse, who do not speak English, and some who do not speak French. Also, must be able to interact with local merchants and vendors for coordination of sales.

ENGLISH 3 General Professional Proficiency Must be able to use ILMS automated systems to perform inventories. Must be able to coordinate with Washington, DC, independently, for annual inventories, to include reading, understanding and applying directive found in cable messages, emails and the FAM. Must be able to interact with experts in A/LM on a regular basis.
Language Skills may be tested

Skills and Abilities: Driving: Must be able to drive a standard vehicle up to light truck and hold a valid driver’s license
